National Allotment Week

National Allotment Week

2026 marks the 23rd year of celebrating allotments with the theme for this year being Grow to Learn. Started in 2002, National Allotments Week is an annual initiative aiming to raise awareness of allotments and their role in helping people live healthier lifestyles, grow their own food, develop friendships, and bolster communities. This year the week runs from 10-16 August, and is a great chance to explore how allotments are vital spaces for growth in every sense: from the practical skills of growing fruit and vegetables, to mental and physical wellbeing, life lessons such as patience and resilience, and the social connections that come from growing alongside others. Visit: https://thenas.org.uk/national-allotments-week for further information and local activities being run on your area.

Valid until 17 August 2026
